PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverse spread processing unit with a provision for future increase in a spread ratio, and a receiver adopting the above unit. SOLUTION: A matched filter 1 uses a reference series corresponding to a head part of a spread code as a tap coefficient to calculate a correlation between a received signal and the reference series and to provide an output to a control section 2. The control section 2 selects a standby correlator 3 among a plurality of correlators 3a-3n every time the correlation exceeds a threshold value to allow the correlator to calculate an integrated correlation between the reference series corresponding to the spread code except the head and the reception signal, and to produce the inversely spread signal by synthesizing in-phase a plurality of the integrated correlation values. |
