<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for adjusting magnetic tape tension capable of finely adjusting the position of a tension pole with high accuracy and an easy way. SOLUTION: Energizing force is applied by a tension adjusting spring 3 to a tension arm 1 mounted rockingly on a chassis 2. Moreover, on this tension arm 1, the tension pole 1b is provided on which the tension is exerted when the magnetic tape 6 runs. A tension band 7 is wound around a reel base 4 on which a magnetic tape reel 5 is mounted, to apply braking force at the time of rotation of the reel base 4. The position of the tension pole 1b is adjusted in the direction of an arrow C, a louvered part 13 for an adjusting screw is provided on the chassis 2 for optimizing the tape tension, the adjusting screw 11 is mounted on this place and its tip is abutted on the tension band 7 or a holder 9. This adjusting screw is adjusted in the direction of an arrow B and the position of the tension pole 1b is adjusted by changing the displacement amount of the tension band 7.</p> |
