PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the POS terminal which can smoothly process a returned merchandise. SOLUTION: This is a POS terminal for processing a returned merchandise and has a PLU file 2 which stores returned merchandise information consisting of whether or not returned merchandises are acceptable and return conditions for each merchandise and a POS control part 3 which reads information on a returned merchandise out of the PLU file 2 when the merchandise is returned and whether or not the returned merchandise is acceptable and return conditions on a display. Further, the POS control part 3 prints whether or not the returned merchandise is acceptable and the return conditions on a receipt.
