PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time loss when a printing operation becomes unavailable. SOLUTION: A data processing means D normally outputs data image developed by an image developing means A to a printing means B as they are, and when a printing operation by the printing means B becomes unavailable, the data image developed by the image developing means A are compressed and held in a storing part C, and when the printing operation is available again, data held in the storing part C are extended, and outputted to the printing means B. Also, the data compressed and held in the storing part C are managed by job units, and the printing sequence of the data of the job units held in the storing part C can be changed, or the data of the job units can be selectively eliminated according to an operation signal from a panel or a remote operation signal from a host. |
