PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission method and a data transmitter by which a transmission path of data is set from a client side without revising a network side. SOLUTION: An application software in an application layer 111 of a client computer 10 calls a 'bind system call' at generation of a socket 110b. When an address ('200.200.200.200') of a satellite channel 12 is set as a flag, the socket 110b is bound to an interface at the address above. As a result, In an IP layer 113 of the client computer 10, an address of the satellite channel 12 is selected as a source address of an IP data gram sent from a server 20 by a path control device. Thus, the IP data gram (packet) returned from the server 20 reaches the client via the satellite channel 12. |
