Also, it has DNA fragment carrying par site of plasmid RP4 but does not contain locus mob. Plasmid has a site of multiple cloning that contains recombinant DNA involving one or some coding structural genes for one or some polypeptides under control of genetic expression regulation sequences. Plasmid has gene determining resistance to antibiotic. The use of this plasmid ensures to obtain recombinant proteins and metabolites.
