PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently store energy and to improve the traveling stability of a vahicle by suppressing the occurrence of gyroscopic moment on a flywheel in a vehicle driving device. SOLUTION: A power-generating motor control device 18 controls power to be supplied to a first power-generating motor 14, based on acceleration and brake signals. Surplus power is stored in a battery 11 or on a flywheel 20 as energy, while when power is in shortage, the energy stored on the flywheel 20 is converted into electric power with a second power-generating motor 28 to be supplied to the first power-generating motor 14. With the flywheel 20 supported by a double-gimbal bearings 21, a flywheel position control device 27 drives servomotors 24, 25 in accordance with the rocking of a vehicle 11 and controls the position of the flywheel 20, so that it does not rock in absolute coordinates. |
