PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize time and to improve operability by down-loading data when portable terminal equipment is mounted on an intermediate transmitter and charging at the same time a battery of the terminal equipment. SOLUTION: A server device 101 reads information retrieved from a storage section 102 and executes the control of sending (down-loading) this information to an intermediate transmitter 2 from an interface section 106 via a communication network 4. The information sent to the intermediate transmitter 2 is down- loaded to portable terminal equipment 3. A control section 311 in the portable terminal equipment 3 controls reception of the information via an internal I/O port 317 and stores it to a storage section 320. Then the processing of starting charging a battery built in a battery circuit 319 of the portable terminal equipment 3 is executed from a power supply section (charging circuit) 210 of the intermediate transmitter 2 together with down-loading processing.
