PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely ground a wire wound around a drum, without the use of a grounding roller, and to provide a stringing method of a transmission line using the drum. SOLUTION: An induced current grounding drum comprises a body part 11 around which the wire is wound, a side plate 12 provided on each side of the body part 11, and a drum shaft arranged at the center of the body part 11. The drum is provided with a conductive part 15 in the axial direction of the part of the body part 11, so as to be brought into electrical contact with the wire, thereby constituting induced current grounding. The current induced by the wire is discharged to ground by performing grounding through the conductive part 15 to prevent the generation of electrical shock accidents or the like.
