PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reception quality by selecting a path required for a high speed rake reception so as to conduct rake synthesis. SOLUTION: Any of inverse spread processing section 103-1-103-3 starts demodulation after the end of initial cell searching, and a CDMA (code division multiple address) base band signal obtained by applying frequency conversion to the received signal into a base band is correlated with a reference code set by a control section 102 at a signal retrieval section 101 and the inverse spread processing section 103-1-103-3 which execute no demodulation. Then, the phase of the code is changed by the control section 102 by using correlation amplitude information obtained from an amplitude detection section in the signal retrieval section 101 and from each of amplitude detection sections 104-1-104-3, so that the reference code for correlation processing is set and a path used for rake synthesis is selected. |
