PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely connect terminals onto which signaling software sets with a different version are installed. SOLUTION: A terminal 11 onto which a user network interface UNI signaling software of version 3.0 is installed and a terminal 13 onto which a user network interface UNI signaling software of version 3.1 is installed are contained in an asynchronous transfer mode ATM network 1. Upon the receipt of a signaling message from the terminal 11 to 13, a signal processing unit 3 converts a message generated by the UNI signaling software of version 3.0 into a message processed by the UNI signaling software of version 3.1 and sends the converted message to the terminal 13. |
