PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the responsiveness of a mail order company with respect to an article order from a customer by maintaining same strict managerial functions as before and immediately issuing a slip for a slip issue request from the mail order company. SOLUTION: The authentication request and authentication issue of a payment slip are performed by a server and a terminal on a network line. A terminal device 10 is provided with an ID send-out part 12, an authentication request part 15 which requests permission to print the payment slip, and a billing part 17 which prints the payment slip according to an authentication signal received from the server. Further, the device is equipped with a means 19, which counts slips W' being printed and an issue-stop means 21, which stops the slip printing when the counted number of the slips exceeds a print number requested of the server. The server device 30 is provided with an ID-matching part 32, an authentication data reception part 33 which accepts an authentication request from a terminal, and an authentication data issue part 35 which sends out authentication, when neither the amount of money not the number of slips exceeds a threshold value. At least one of the server and terminal is provided with a slip-generating means 25 which generates payment slips. |
