摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum material for a lithium battery with less strength decrease caused by softening in a drying process in the production process of an electrode material for the lithium battery, and provide the manufacturing method of the electrode material for the lithium battery using this aluminum material. SOLUTION: An aluminum material contains 1.0-1.5 wt.% Mn and 0.05-0.20 wt.% Cu, or furthermore contains 0.4-0.7 wt.% Fe, and the remaining is aluminum and impurities. Preferably, the content of Mg of the impurities is specified to 10 ppm or less. As the manufacturing method, a process for applying pasty electrode mix to the surface of an aluminum alloy foil made of the aluminum alloy material specified, a process for drying the electrode mix at 100-200 deg.C, and a process for pressing them are executed requentially.
