The invention relates to an insert for an endosteal implant to promote gingival growth after the insertion of an implant base body, comprising an intermediate piece with a cervical end for insertion into the base body, a cap on the coronal end of the intermediate piece, a device to impede a relative movement of the cap in the direction of the cervical end of the intermediate piece when a force is exerted on the cap in a substantially longitudinal direction and an anti-twisting device to prevent a rotational movement of the cap around the longitudinal axis of said intermediate piece in relation thereto. The cap is mounted in such a way that it can move around the longitudinal axis of the intermediate piece in relation thereto, at least in the direction of the coronal end of the intermediate piece. The anti-twist device prevents a rotational movement of the cap around the longitudinal axis of the intermediate piece in relation thereto when such a movement occurs. |
