Thin layers are impregnated with resin, which is cured whilst applying a gentle pressure. A process for making a laminate material for doors used in buildings, comprises impregnating several layers of material with a curable resin. The thickness of each layer prior to curing is less than ca. 0.5 mm. Curing is carried out whilst applying a low pressure of up to ca. 20 (7) kg/cm. Independent claims are also included for (a) the laminate made by this process, and (b) doors made from this laminate, which is provided on at least one side of a surface layer (14) on one or both sides of the door. |
