PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply regenerating a residual non-azeotropic, mixed refrigerant whose composition is changed in a container by keeping it in communication with the vapor phase of an adjusting refrigerant to restore its composition in the container. SOLUTION: This method regenerates the vapor of liquid phase of a residual non-azeotropic, mixed refrigerant R (preferably composed of two or more compounds selected from hydrochlorofluorocarbon, hydrofluorocarbon, hydrocarbon, fluorocarbon, hydrofluoroether, fluoroether and fluoroiodocarbon compounds) whose composition is changed in a container by keeping it in communication with the vapor phase of an adjusting refrigerant H, having virtually the same composition as the refrigerant R of the original composition and also having at least the same weight of, preferably at least twice as much as, the residual refrigerant R for a period until the composition of the refrigerant R is restored to within an acceptable range of ±1 wt.%. |
