<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a branch pipe to a corrugated pipe easily and positively in a sealed state. SOLUTION: A branch pipe connecting joint to a corrugated pipe consists of a joint connecting part 10 mounted in a connecting hole 8 provided in the corrugated pipe 5, and a joint part 30 used in combination with the joint connecting part 10. The joint connecting part 10 is formed in cylindrical shape insertable into the connecting hole 8, and the tip side to be inserted in the connecting hole 8 is closable and normally provided in a diameter contracted state. A sealant 18 is provided at the outer peripheral surface of the tip part, and a thread part 20 is provided at the outer end side inner peripheral surface extended from the connecting hole 8. The joint part 30 is formed in cylindrical shape with a thread part 32 formed on the outer peripheral surface so as to be thread-fastened to the thread part 20 of the joint connecting part 10. When the joint part 30 is screwed into the joint connecting part 10, the tip side diameter of the joint connecting part 10 is enlarged to bring the sealant 18 into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the connecting hole 8 so as to seal in a watertight state, and the joint part 30 is fixed to the corrugated pipe 5 along with the joint connecting part 10.</p> |
