<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating supporting device for piping that can be formed by blow molding using a thermoplastic resin as a material and can provide heat insulating performance equal to that of hard urethane foam. SOLUTION: This heat insulating supporting device 10 for piping has a heat insulating body 11 composed of heat insulating divided pieces 11a, 11b provided in a state of surrounding the support object place of a piping P and divided in the circumferential direction of the piping P. The respective heat insulating divided pieces 11a, 11b of hollow structure have internal space 26 surrounded by inner peripheral walls 20, outer peripheral walls 21 on the outside, connecting walls 22, 23 provided at the mutual opposed parts of the heat insulating divided pieces 11a, 11b, and end walls 24, 25. The inner peripheral wall 21 is provided with a recessed part 30 for forming a cavity between the outer peripheral surface of the piping P and the wall 21, and heat insulating material is accommodated in this recessed part 30. Temporary fastening protrusions 41 fittable into holes of a support fitting are formed on the outer surface side of the outer peripheral walls 21, integrally with the heat insulating divided pieces 11a, 11b.</p> |
