<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic two-component system developer having good developing characteristics and stable electrification characteristics even after the developer is used for a long time, and to provide such a high- precision electrophotographic two-component system developer that when an image with two or more colors is formed by using a color toner, an image without image defects such as color irregularity, color slurring and fogging can be obtd. SOLUTION: This developer contains a resin-coated carrier and a toner containing a coloring agent and a binder. The toner satisfies the relation of 0.43<=|Q2/Q1|<=0.87, where Q1 (fc/10μm) is the median of the charge amt. q/d when the toner and the core of the resin-coated carrier are subjected to triboelectrification, and Q2 (fc/10μm) is the median of the charge amt. q/d when the toner and the resin-coated carrier are subjected to triboelectrificatlon. The absolute value of Q2 ranges 4.0 to 10.0 (fc/10μm) and the absolute value of Q1 is larger by >1.0 (fc/10μm) than the absolute value of Q2.</p> |
