The adjustable height chassis (22) for a roller skate is constituted by two webs (7) connected by connecting links (26). These connecting links have an upper surface (29) which constitutes the support zone for the boot and a lower surface (30) which is positioned in height relative to the webs to constitute the upper limit of the passage of the wheels (4). The chassis is adjustable in height by modification of its position relative to the upper and lower surfaces of the links relative to the webs on which the wheel axles (4') are positioned.
