PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant polyester resin composition, which exhibits antistatic properties, flame-retardancy and resistance to discoloration, for illuminator members. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant polyester resin composition is composed of 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic, aromatic polyester incorporated with (A) 0 to 150 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler, (B) 5 to 60 pts.wt. of a bromine-based flame-retardant, (C) 0 to 20 pts.wt. of an antimony-based flame-retarding aid, and (D) a sufficient quantity of an antistatic agent to make the composition antistatic, showing antistatic properties of 1.25 kV or less as saturation charge voltage and 30 s or less as its half-life, when it is formed into a plate and charged by a voltage of 10 kV at an electrode-sample distance of 20 mm. |
