摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately display the reliability of the existence of a facing vehicle to the crew by changing the display mode of a facing vehicle according to the traveling geometrical environment of a self vehicle, and ensuring a display mode considering communication reliability. SOLUTION: A GPS-receiving equipment 7, a gyroscope and a vehicle traveling velocity sensor of a present position detecting means detect the present position of a self vehicle. A map memory 17 stores road map information. A display means 18 visually displays necessary information of the present position of the self vehicle, a road map, etc. A display changing means changes the display mode of the facing vehicle in the display means 18, according to the traveling geometrical environment where the self vehicle travels. For example, when the self vehicle travels on a road of low communication reliability due to buildings, mountains, high voltage transmission lines, tunnels, etc., the display mode of the facing vehicle is changed by the traveling geometrical environment which is read from the map memory 17. As a result, the display mode in consideration of the reliability of communication can be ensured, and reliability of existence of a facing vehicle can be accurately displayed to the crew.
