The corner block (10) is made from a blank of cardboard material which is cut and folded to form the required shape. It has three first faces (44,46,48) each formed as an L-shaped band. These are arranged perpendicular to each other and each is hinged to the other along corner fold lines (36,38). A trihedral hollow (64) is formed inside the volume. It has three second faces (50,52,54) which are parallel respectively to the first three faces and level with the interior edges of the L-shaped bands.
