PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a detecting performance to a hydraulic abnormality without entailing a special change in the structure of a hydraulic sensor itself. SOLUTION: This hydraulic abnormality detector for an outboard motor is provided with a hydraulic sensor 36 that performs on-of operations according to a hydraulic pressure in an oil supply system, at the downstream side of an oil pump 34 in this oil supply system of an engine 30 mounted on the outboard motor 1. In succession, a first power supply circuit 71 supplying power unpassed through electrical equipment 8a at the side of a hull 2 mounting the outboard motor 1, is connected to this hydraulic sensor 36, and thus this detector is so constituted that it is able to detect a hydraulic abnormality state in the oil supply system after making an electric current flow into the hydraulic sensor 36 via the power supply circuit 71 when this sensor 36 is closed. |
