<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent exhaust gas leakage from both ends of a filter material and improve exhaust particulate collecting performance, whereas this filter unit is of winding type winding the filter material and a sheet heater material in a spiral type in and around a central pipe material. SOLUTION: This filter unit 20 is equipped with a central pipe material 21, a filter material 24 wound up in a spiral type after being superposed on a circumference of this central pipe material 21 and a sheet heater material 23, and it is so constituted that exhaust particulates in exhaust gas to be introduced from an opening end 30 and an owing part 22 of this central pipe material 21 are collected by the filter material 24. In this case, in a state that the filter material 24 and the sheet heater material 23 are wound up after superposing them on the circumference of the central pipe material 21, both first and second ceramic guides 35 and 36 closing both winding ends of the filter material 24 are installed, and further, both first and second collars 37 and 38 checking any pipe axial movements of both these ceramic guides 35 and 36 are locked tight to the central pipe material 21.</p> |
