The recovery vehicle has a lorry (1) on which is mounted a auxiliary frame (3) with a tilting frame mounted via bolts in bushes. The pivoting movement of the tilting frame is provided through two hydraulic actuating cylinders controlled by automatic control valves which adjust the inclination of the base bed (4), simultaneously with guiding (17) of the tilting frame with the help of a chain (18). The chain has a front coupling assembly (7) and a rear coupling group (8).The drive movement is transmitted through a ratchet (24) which is provided with two connecting wheels (25) and is driven by a motor (26)
