PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the humidifying performance of an underfloor humidifying material for a long time by forming it out of urethane resin constituted as a result of a water-absorptive resin dispersing element and a polyisocyanate compound reacting to each other, and an urethane resin composition where water-absorptive resin of particular shape or its moisture gel is dispersed in urethane resin. SOLUTION: An underfloor humidifying material is constituted of urethane resin formed as a result of a water-absorptive resin dispersing element and a polyisocyanate compound reacting to each other, and an urethane resin composition where water- absorptive resin of particular shape or its hydrate gel is dispersed in urethane resin. The water-absorptive resin dispersing element is formed by dispersing the absorptive resin or its hydrate gel polymerized in the compound in liquid or thermal melting active hydrogen containing organic compound. The average particle diameter of the absorptive resin or its absorptive gel in the urethane resin is 0.01 to 100μm to prevent decrease in absorption velocity and aggregation of particles in the dispersing element. It is thus possible for the underfloor humidifying material to have excellent absorbing and humidifying velocity and humidifying characteristics over a long period, thereby making it usable for underfloor humidifying application.
