PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test method and a test structure for determining a specified consecutive or a series of binary end count under a situation where a given number and the relation thereof to given number of end count are known in a sequence. SOLUTION: The inventive structure comprises a circuit 10 for generating a binary digit output, and a memory 14 for storing at least a part of a given number, preferably the number of next from last number in a sequence. A consecutive binary sequence is generated as the output from the circuit 10 and the outputted number is compared 16 with a part of stored numbers. When they match each other, a ready signal is outputted. A control signal is generated it a number generated following to the ready signal in the following cycle corresponds to an end count. Furthermore, a programmable end count is taken into account. |
