PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition which forms a coated product having a good weather resistance, corrosion resistance and workability, by substituting a synthetic resin other than a vinyl chloride resin for a chlorine-containing vinyl-chloride resin sol coating used as a base resin. SOLUTION: This acrylic/polyethylene resin coating composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. (based on the solid component) polyethylene resin powder wherein the average molecular weight is from 15,000 to 70.000 and the average particle size is from 1 to 50μm, (B) from 30 to 100 pts.wt. (based on the solid content) acrylic resin wherein the average molecular weight is 10,000 or larger and (C) from 10 to 30 pts.wt. (based on the solid content) hydrogenated petroleum resin wherein the average molecular weight is from 600 to 1,000. A coated product is prepared by applying this acrylic/polyethylene resin coating composition as a coating. |
