PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve formability, surface properties, heat resistance and adhesiveness by directly vapor-depositing a metal on an article molded from a compsn. contg. a polyalkylene terephthalate resin, modified silicone oil and a fine powdery filler. SOLUTION: The compsn. contains 0.03-3 pts.wt. modified silicone oil and 0.1-5 pts.wt. fine powdery filler based on 100 pts.wt. resin. The resin is preferably a polyalkylene terephthalate, in particular polybutylene terephthalate, a copolyester of an alkylene terephthalate or a mixture of polyalkylene terephthalates, in particular a mixture of polybutylene terephthalate and polyethylene terephthalate in a ratio of (90-50):(10-50) or a mixture of polybutylene terephthalate and polybutylene terephthalate/isophthalate in a ratio of (90-50):(10-50). It is preferable that the modified silicone oil is epoxy modified silicon oil, the fine powdery filler is <=20μm average particle diameter and the molded article in aluminium vapor-deposited.
