PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely control the light emission of autofocusing(AF) auxiliary light by a photographer by forcibly suspending the light emission of the AF auxiliary light in accordance with set operation from an external part. SOLUTION: When the AF auxiliary light is forcibly suspended, the photographer simultaneously presses a MODE button and a negative button in an operating part 20. A mircoprocessor 18 turns on the display of NO-AF-ILL on a liquid crystal display part 19, and sets an inside flag expressing its forcibly suspending mode. When the light emitting signal of the AF auxiliary light is received from a camera side 30 and the inside flag is in a set condition, the processor 18 judges that the AF auxiliary light is inhibited, and never gives the light emitting signal of the AF auxiliary light to a control circuit 17. As a result, the output voltage of the circuit 17 is kept to a ground potential as before, and the collector current of a transistor 15 does not flow. Consequently, the AF auxiliary light is not emitted from a light emitting diode 14. |
