PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to easily and safely construct a tunnel below an existing road in a limited space. SOLUTION: In a tunnel construction method, construction of an upper section 7 of a tunnel is completed in advance over the whole section, and then, a lower section 8 is constructed to build the multiple-layered tunnel 1. The upper section 7 is constructed in the order of the primary reinforcement 4, drilling, timbering 2, foot pile 3, and floor slab 6, while the lower section 5 is constructed in the order of side wall part drilling, timbering 2, bench drilling, and invert 9. |
