PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin compsn. for an automobile interior material which can provide moldings having a good balance between lightweight properties, surface hardness, rigidity, impact resistance, and tensile strength properties. SOLUTION: This propylene resin compsn. for an automobile interior material comprises: (A) 70 to 99 pts.wt. propylene block copolymer having a melt flow rate of 1 to 40 g/10 min under conditions of a temp. of 230 deg.C and a load of 2.16 kg according to ASTM D 1238; (B) 1 to 30 pts.wt. ethylene/α-olefin random copolymer of ethylene with a 6-10Cα-olefin, the random copolymer having an ethylene content of not more than 96 mol.% and a melt flow rate of 1 to 60 g/10 min under conditions of a temp. of 230 deg.C and a load of 2.16 kg according to ASTM D 1238; and, based on 100 pts.wt. in total of the components (A) and (B), (C) 1 to 10 pts.wt. fibrous org. filler and (D) 0.01 to 1 pt.wt. nucleating agent. This compsn. is suitable for automobile interior material applications, such as fenders, side garnishes, particularly pillar materials, such as center pillars and pillar garnishes, and door rims. |
