PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot melt adhesive composition excellent in high speed coating properties and adhesive properties and has decreased tendency to string as coated, which composition is especially suitable for the packaging field. SOLUTION: This composition comprises an ethylene-unsaturated ester copolymer with an unsaturated ester content of 10-45 wt.% and a melt flow rate of 50-3,000 g/10 min at 190 deg.C and with a load of 2,160 g, a tackifier resin and a wax, contains also not less than 0.01 pt.wt. and less than 1.0 pt.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the hot melt component 5-40 wt.% of which being the wax component, of fumed silica with a particle diameter of 100 nm or less and a bulk specific gravity of 10-100 g/L, and has a melt viscosity in the range of 100-5,000 mPa.s at 180 deg.C. |
