PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically provide an inexpensive hydraulic material that can immobilize heavy metals and can suppress their elution and can do the immobilization simply. SOLUTION: This hydraulic material comprises 100 pts.wt. of a hydraulic material rich in calcium and 5-30 pts.wt. of amorphous siliceous material. The material can additionally contain a mixed material rich in alumina and/or silica. The hydraulic material rich in calcium may be Portland cement, mixed cement, alumina cement, quick lime, slaked lime, a mixture of anhydrous gypsum with its hardening accelerator or one or more kinds of hemihydrate gypsum. The amorphous siliceous material is a combination of one or more of silica sol, aerosol, silica gel, silica fume or silica flower. The mixed material rich in alumina and/or silica is a combination of one or more of aluminum hydroxide, high alumina slag, hauyne, blast furnace slag and fly ash. |
