PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation during weld, and thus form sandwich panels with a fine outside appearance by friction welding the inside of joint parts of surface boards to allow the welded parts not to be exposed on the surface, and bonding core materials to the inside. SOLUTION: Each surface board single body 11 consisting of aluminum is joined to each other through abutment, and the rear sides thereof are welded by friction weld 40 for forming a large surface board 10. Next, held between a pair of the surface boards 10, 10 having the welded part put inside are core materials 30 made by a sheet plate into a cylinder having a circular, triangle, square, and pentagonal shape or more, and the surface materials 10, frame material 20, and core materials 30 are joined (bonded) together by brazing filler metal or an adhesive. Besides, a heat insulation panel is formed by employing as core material polyurethane or the like for the core materials 30. Also, in order to ensure the blind of a joint line 14 further, a paint is applied on the surface after the finish done by brazing filler metal, putty, or the like. In this way, a sandwich panel can be obtained having lightweight and fineness. |
