PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve production yield by preventing upper and lower conducting-members from being protruded onto an element substrate. SOLUTION: A substrate 11 having a pixel electrode communicated to a transistor and a substrate 12 having a common electrode are fixed at a suitable interval by a spacer mixed seal 13 while mutually opposing their electrodes and a liquid crystal 15 is held between these substrates. Concerning such a liquid crystal panel, a terminal 14 for vertical conducting connection provided on the element substrate 11 for applying a potential to this common electrode is formed inside or at least >=250μfrom an opposed substrate terminal position.
