PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate a design change in output shafts, and restrain short a shaft directional dimension of a differential device which can transmit driving torque between the output shafts. SOLUTION: A differential device has a bevel gear type differential gear mechanism 17 to differentially distribute driving force of an engine inputted to a differential case 3 to respective output shafts 21 and 23 and first and second variable displacement oil pump/motors 51 and 53 arranged on first and second sub-shafts 35 and 37 respectively connected to the respective output shafts 21 and 23 through transmission mechanisms 45 and 47, and a suction port and a delivery port of the first oil pump/motor 51 are respectively connected to a delivery port and a suction port of the second oil pump/motor 53 through a passage 55.
