PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject composition having excellent printing ink adhesivity, etc., and suitable for coating the surface of a can or bottle, etc., of drink by using an epoxy compound which is liquid at normal temperature, an acrylic polymer and a photo-cationic polymerization initiator as essential components and imparting a cured coating film with a specific property. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) an epoxy compound which is liquid at normal temperature, (B) an acrylic polymer and (C) a photo-cationic polymerization initiator (e.g. an aryl diazonium salt) and gives a cured coating film having a contact angleθof 70-90 deg. with water. The component A preferably contains >=50 wt.% of an alicyclic epoxy compound. The polymerization of the component B is preferably carried out in the component A from the resource-saving and energy-saving points of view. The adjustment of the contact angle with water to 70-90 deg. is preferably carried out by selecting the monomer composition of the component B or selecting the ratio of the component A to the component B. The weight ratio of A:B is preferably 99:1 to 50:50.
