The lock (20) has a handle (10) with a lever (14), a locking stator (18,12) and a base (12,22) which is accessible from the exterior to allow a key to be inserted through an opening (28) which opens into the base. A cap (36) to protect the lock is movably mounted with respect to the base between an open position giving access to the opening for the key and a closed position in which the cap is positioned opposite the opening. The cap is slidably mounted on the base along a direction D perpendicular to the direction of introduction of the key between the open and closed positions. |
