PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a permanent magnet type non-excitation operated electromagnetic brake as being capable of restraining noise during braking and attraction to be extremely low in consideration of ambient environment. SOLUTION: For an electromagnetic brake, a rubber O-ring 11 is attached to the outer periphery and/or the inner periphery of an armature 2 to restrain vibration noise during attraction and release with the damping effect of rubber as well as squeal noise during braking. A rubber ring or a rubber string can be used instead of the rubber O-ring 11. |
