PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit control of nonspecific bonding of a labeled bonding partner to a negatively charged matrix substance, by combining a fluid sample with polyalkoxyl amine surfactant. SOLUTION: In relation to a method for measuring a concentration of an object to be analyzed in a fluid sample, there are included a step of preparing a matrix where the fluid sample can flow by a capillary phenomenon, a step of combining the fluid sample with a cationic surfactant which is polyalkoxyl amine, and a step of bonding a composite of the object to be analyzed and a labelled specific bonding partner to an immobilized specific bonding partner in proportion to the concentration of the object to be analyzed in the fluid sample. The surfactant reduces nonspecific bonding of the labelled specific bonding partner to a test strip Accordingly, catching of strips for immnochromatography and nonspecific bonding of the labelled specific bonding partner at a detection zone can be reduced or eliminated.
