PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for manufacturing a small core for flux gate sensor having characteristics insusceptible to mechanical distortion in which aging of magnetic characteristic is suppressed under high temperature and the magnetic detection sensitivity is enhanced by imparting a high squareness ratio. SOLUTION: The core 2 of a flux gate sensor employs a soft magnetic alloy principally comprising Fe wherein 50% or more of the composition is composed of fine crystal grains of bodycentered-cubic structure having mean grain size of 30 nm or less and containing one kind or more of element M, B selected from a group of Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Mo and W. |
