PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sliding door from springing back, by arranging a brake member formed by folding a spring plate, at the end of a lintel groove. SOLUTION: When a sliding door 5 is closed and it reaches a zone where a brake member 3 is arranged, the front end of the top end 5a of the sliding door 5 comes into contact with the first valley of the corrugated shape part of the brake member 3 and decelerates. The sliding door 5 moves while decelarating and further decelerates with contact with the third valley. In this way, the sliding door 5 reaches a vertical frame 2 while being gradually decelerated by the first, second, and third valleys. And hence, the advancing speed of the sliding door becomes almost zero, by the time when it reaches the vertical frame 2. The closed state of the sliding door 5 is made secure all the more by the reaction force of the corrugated part of the brake member 3 provided between the top end 5a of the sliding door and the bottom 11a of the lintel groove, in the stretched state. Accordingly, even when the sliding door is closed vigorously, it is prevented from springing back. |
