PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat exchange efficiency by improving piping workability, and effectually utilizing drain water. SOLUTION: This outdoor device includes an outdoor heat exchanger 2, a slinger ring 3a equipped propeller fan 3, an air guide plate 4, all placed on a rear part of a base 1, a concave part 20 provided below the propeller fan 3, a compressor 5 provided on a front one side, an electric parts box 6 provided on the other side, a fan motor 8 provided at the center, connection valves 7 (7a, 7b) of a three-way valve for connecting a piping from an indoor device, a drain reception pan 21 provided, protruded below the connection valve for receiving drain from the indoor device, and water guide means for guiding water in the drain reception pan 21 to the concave part. There are further provided an outer trunk 9 for opening the base 1 before and behind the same and including a suction hole 9a in side surface thereof, in which trunk the base is contained, and a front cover 9 having a first notched hole and a second cutout hole mounted on a front opening thereof. There are covered the first notched hole with a valve cover for covering the connection valve and covered the second notched hole with an electric parts box cover 25 for covering the electric parts box. |
