PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable framing without the sense of incongruity of a photographer by changing a movable range based on the shake detecting signal of a shake detecting part. SOLUTION: A comparator 54 judges whether target driving position information X is smaller than a compared value Xmax or not. When the information X is smaller than the compared value Xmax in the middle of the on-operation of a second timer (before time-out), the comparator 54 judges that the movable range is widened by the input of large shake and soft limit is set to the±L2 of a wide range. That is, when the comparator 54 judges that the large shake is inputted in the middle of the on-operation of the second timer, the soft limit value of a movable range limiter 55 is changed from±L1 to±L2. Therefore, the movable range of the shake correcting lens is changed from a narrow movable range (-L1 to L1) to the wide movable range (-L2 to L2).
