PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce quantities of materials necessary for protecting the surface of slope of a levee to simplify every work such as conveyance and installation of the materials and elimination of them after the completion of drainage, promote work efficiency, at the same time, increase safety of installation work and to prevent the materials from being carried away after the elapsed time. SOLUTION: A protection nozzle 9 of levee slope is equipped with a discharge port 10 of a throttled caliber D smaller than a pipe diameter D1 of piping 1 on the discharge side installed on the slope 3 of a levee 2, and an axis C1 on the lower stream side facing to the discharge port 10 is continued to an axis C2 on the upper stream side facing to an inlet 11 connected to the front end of the piping 1 on the discharge side at approximately 25 deg.-30 deg. of elevationθ. Then, the protection nozzle 9 of levee slope is connected to the piping 1 on the discharge side and is installed on the slope 3 separated from the waters edge, and a landing distance up to a landing point of discharged water W is extended to the water surface WL of a river 4.
