PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate the degradation in display quality without increasing the resistance value of an input electrode and an extraction electrode by making the film thickness of the conductive film on the display electrode on at least one transparent substrate thinner than the conductive films of the input electrode and the extraction electrode. SOLUTION: The input electrode 2 and extraction electrode 3 which consist of indium tin oxide(ITO) and having a thickness of, for example, 0.25μm are formed as the conductive films are formed atop a transparent substrate 1. The display electrode 4 connecting to the extraction electrode 3 is formed as the conductive film consisting of ITO at a thickness of, for example, 0.05μm. A driving semiconductor device 5 connecting to the input electrode 2 and the extraction electrode 3 is packaged. On the other hand, the display electrode 4 consisting of ITO and having a thickness of, for example, 0.05μm is formed on the transparent substrate 1 on the opposite side. The transparent substrates facing each other are adhered by a sealing material 6 and liquid crystals 7 are sealed therebetween. The film thicknesses of the conductive films of the display electrodes 4 on at least one transparent substrate 1 are made thinner than the conductive films of the input electrode 2 and the extraction electrode 3.
