VIBRATION PROOF APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve vibration proof properties by reciprocating a movable member while expanding a displacement quantity of a magnetostriction material. SOLUTION: A coil 68 for generating a magnetic field is used in a housing 62. A mgnetostriction material 72 for generating a displacement due to variation of the magnetic field is installed on an inner circumference side of the coil 68. A piston plate 76 is loaded on an upper part of the magnetiostriction material 72 via a yoke 74A. The piston pate 76 is disposed in opposite to a top head material 78 via a displacement transmission liquid chamber 80 in which liquid is sealed. A transmission shaft 52 is disposed in a hole part 78B of the top head material 68, and a small diameter part of the transmission shaft 52 abuts against a movable plate 54. A lower side of the transmission shaft 52 has a large diameter, and is engaged with the hole part 78B of the top head material 78.
