摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a non-oriented silicon steel sheet, in which ridging is not generated and has excellent surface property as well as low iron loss, by hot rolling a slab containing a specified composition of C, P, N, Si, Mn, sol. Al, S and the balance essentially Fe in a specified condition. SOLUTION: A slab has a composition consisting of, by weight, 0-0.005% C, 0-0.1% P, 0-0.005% N, 1.5-4.0% Si, 0.05-1.0% Mn, 0.1-1.0% sol. Al, 0-0.007% S and the balance substantially Fe. The slab, after heated to <=1150 deg.C, is subjected to rough rolling at a draft of >=60% by a roughing mill. Successively, a rough rolled material is heated to 1,000-1,150 deg.C and is held in this temp. range for 2-10 sec, and then is finish rolled and is coiled at >=650 deg.C. This hot rolled sheet is not required to have hot rolled sheet annealing, a desired steel sheet is obtained through cold rolling and finish annealing.
